Every guide, no funnel.
35 published guides. Filter by topic or search the title.
This library is built around one rule: the room decides the hardware. Every guide starts with ceiling height, bay width, depth, or screen distance, then moves to launch monitors, projectors, and software. If a product cannot fit the room, its accuracy is irrelevant.
What each hub answers
| Hub | Question it answers | Start with |
|---|---|---|
| Room | Will a driver fit, and where does the screen go? | Ceiling height |
| Hardware | Which monitor, projector, screen, and mat match the room? | Launch monitors |
| Software | What runs the courses, and what does it cost per year? | Software comparison |
| Cost | What does the installed bay cost, line by line? | Cost guide |
Three ways to use it
Before you buy. Measure the room and read the ceiling and bay guides. If the ceiling is under 9 ft, start there; most hard problems begin with a number that cannot change.
Choosing hardware. Read the monitor comparison and the room-fit guide together. Radar and camera units need different space behind and in front of the ball.
Budgeting. Use the cost guide and the subscription guide together. A cheap monitor with a $300/year membership is not cheap over three years.
Not sure where to start? Begin with the constraint that cannot change. If the ceiling is the limit, read the ceiling guide first. If the room is shared, start with the garage layout. If the budget is fixed, start with the installed-cost guide and the bay calculator.
What the library leaves out
We do not cover commercial simulator bars, golf instruction, or swing coaching. We also do not review every launch monitor on the market; the list focuses on units that fit a home bay and have published space requirements. If a product has no manual, no minimum depth, and no subscription price, it does not belong in a buying guide.
We also leave out installation shortcuts that violate the manufacturer's clearance or the local electrical code. A bay that fits on paper but fails inspection is not a shortcut.
How the library is maintained
Specs and prices change. Every guide lists its sources and an update date, and we date price checks rather than calling them permanent. Corrections: contact@golfbayguide.com.
Guide library questions
How often are the guides updated?
Electrical, load, and cost guides are rechecked when a code, manual, or product rating changes; the library is reviewed on a rolling twelve-month cycle.
Do you accept paid rankings?
No. A merchant cannot buy a place in a comparison, a score, or a best-of list. Affiliate links are disclosed on every page.
How do I report an error?
Email contact@golfbayguide.com with the URL and a source. Corrections with a source are handled first.
